2022: A Year in Blogs

As the year comes to a close and we rapidly approach 2023, now presents a perfect time to take stock of the year. 2022 was a big year for tech, with further advancements made in security solutions, the metaverse, and many more ambitious IT products and systems.

This year at Fitzrovia IT, we explored tech news, tech releases, and business successes as they occurred. Therefore, we’re going to take a look back on 2022 through the blogs we shared, gathering together our top 5 posts of the year.

#3 - The Evolution of the Internet: A Fitzrovia IT timeline since 1999

In a more personal take on the history of the internet, we looked at how the internet has developed since Fitzrovia IT’s inception in 1999. As the IT landscape of 2022 is almost unrecognisable from that of 1999, we created an all-encompassing timeline to track releases, apps, and major developments.

#4 - 4 Reasons Why Your Business Needs a Penetration Test

As we increased our focus on cybersecurity for International Cybersecurity Month, we delved into one of the best cybersecurity tests available - penetration testing (also known as a pen test). #5 - Fitzrovia Team do 10k for the MS Society!

And to round out the year, we celebrated our team running the 10k Running GP at Goodwood Motor Circuit in aid of the MS Society. The team raised £2,000, a great effort for an extremely important cause. The MS Society do vital work, advocating for those with Multiple Sclerosis whilst working to have globally effective treatments by 2025.
