Not all our client’s get to see our lovely faces, but I’ll let you in on a secret….. we’re usually smiling!
As February ends and we move towards the start of spring, it’s a good time to look back and see how the early part of the year has gone and what we have achieved here at Fitz IT. As usual, it has been a busy period for us, we affectionately call it ‘the post-Christmas peak’, which has to be seen to be believed!
With changes happening on a near daily basis, it’s a fast paced world in the Fitzrovia IT office, with two new faces joining the team this year already, as we continue to grow. So welcome to the family Lee Hurley and Ash Haind who bring with them a wealth of customer service experience as well as a fair few technical skills to add to the mix.
Our new initiatives are starting to take hold as alluded to in the title of this blog, the big one being Service with a Smile – a tweak to the existing culture at Fitzrovia, with the aim of re-focusing us and putting the customers happiness and satisfaction at the centre of everything we do in Service. Something we feel becomes second nature for us to do when there’s a smile on our faces!
In an ever changing market of new and exciting technologies, there are endless solutions to problems that we didn’t even know existed. As a result, it can be easy to lose sight of the end user. Through our Service with a Smile initiative we aim to harness the best of these solutions whilst maintaining our promise of being a helping hand, a warm voice on the end of the phone; or on-site if you need us.
For example, we aim to call all users daily, instead of interacting over email. We want to hear your voice! In some instances, it won’t always be possible – you may be busy, away or just can’t look at whatever it may be right now. But that’s okay, we’re at the other end of the phone whenever you need us and we’ll work around you. We will always follow up by email if we can’t speak to you there and then, so keep an eye out for our re-designed emails, they’ve been cut down and modernised to make the key information easy and available to you!
As we move in the spring, we’re looking forward to warmer weather, brighter days and most of all, talking to you!
