24/7/365 Monitoring: Why Hackers Love the Quiet Summer Months
Summer is one of the most common times for cybercriminals to target businesses because staffing levels often drop, employees take annual leave, and...
This week we’d like to share with you some of our latest exciting news! It’s been very busy at Fitzrovia IT recently, with an imminent office move and our summer party all in the span of two weeks. The team have also been working hard to gain exciting new qualifications and certifications, keeping their focus despite the disruption.
The annual summer party was held at Wagtail Rooftop in Monument, with beautiful views over central London. Unfortunately train strikes meant that some of the team couldn’t make it, but that didn’t impact the energy or atmosphere! It was a great chance for departments to mix and mingle and chat about things other than work. Some partners attended and it was a lovely opportunity for them to meet the people who make up Fitz, and better understand our company culture.
Our marketing manager Jacob was able to attend and summed up his feelings on the night. ‘It was awesome to see everyone outside of the office and get to chat to the Fitz team. Wagtail was an amazing venue with great views of St Pauls’. We look forward to the next social!
In the coming week we’ll be relocating offices, moving just round the corner from our current Newman Street location. You’ll see our address being updated, but just so you know, we’ll now be working out of Holden House at 57 Rathbone Place (W1T 1JU).
This is an incredibly exciting move for us, with a bigger space for our ever-growing team. It’s been a period of growth and development for us all, and we can’t wait to settle into our new workspace!
We’re very pleased to announce that we have recently achieved the new Cyber Essentials Basic accreditation, which demonstrates our security capability in line with the NCSC’s and IASME’s latest standard in cybersecurity.
As shared by our CISO George Coumas, ‘this latest certification demonstrates our continued commitment to building our security capability’ - something we continue to remain dedicated to.
We’ve previously covered the IASME Cyber Essentials Scheme in depth on our blog, discussing the changing rules and regulations associated with the accreditation. As one of the most widely recognised and valued security accreditations in the UK, we’re proud to continue maintaining our Cyber Essentials standards.
As we continue to push forward in forging new partnerships and gaining more certifications and accreditations, we’re certain there’s more exciting news on the horizon. Our priority remains our clients as always, and we know the recent changes at Fitzrovia will benefit them first and foremost!
If you’re interested in finding out more about our team and the services we provide, or want to discuss adopting us as your MSP partner, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact today.
