Charlotte Street will be closed to traffic on Friday 01 July and instead local food stalls will line the street, a Beach BBQ cook off will be hosted as some of the best cafes in Fitzrovia go head to head to be crowned Beach BBQ Champion 2016, a Live Food Show where chefs demonstrate their favourite dishes live on stage and even a chilli challenge will be taking place! Don’t bother bringing a packed lunch to work!
Style, Beauty and Travel blogger Victoria Magrath of In The F-Row has opened up a pop up show at 35-37 Neal Street, Covent Garden. The shop will be selling items donated from her designer wardrobe and beauty collection, as well as donations from other bloggers and key fashionable pieces from 750 shops across the UK. The idea is for shoppers to be able to treat themselves to items from famous closets for bargain prices. All the money raised will help the British Heart Foundation fund life saving research.
Fitzrovia’s annual community music festival kicked off yesterday and will run until 11 June. Celebrating musical heritage from past generations as well as the contemporary diversity present today. The festival is made up of a variety of concerts, workshops and social events featuring musicians who have lived or working in Fitzrovia over the years and often play instruments made in Fitzrovia!
