Working with a Microsoft Partner: why should you go for Gold?

When looking for a Managed Service Provider to partner with, there are numerous factors to consider. As we’ve previously discussed, it’s always essential to partner with an ISO 27001 certified organisation in order to guarantee best security practices are being followed. However, if your business also utilises Microsoft services, it’s essential to work in tandem with an MSP that is part of the Microsoft Partner Network. The Partner Network allows you to engage with a reputable, knowledgeable, and graded IT support firm.

What is the Microsoft Partner Network?

As described by Microsoft, the Partner Network is a hub of people, resources, and offerings brought together to give MSPs everything they need to build and deliver successful solutions to clients. All organisations within the Partner Network have agreed to collaborate and establish a close working relationship with Microsoft, guaranteeing they will adapt and evolve Microsoft Technologies for the benefit of themselves and their clients.

Through partnering with Microsoft, IT support firms can demonstrate their participation within a community of organisations working towards a shared goal – excellence for clients. The resources, programs, and tools offered by Microsoft help MSPs such as Fitzrovia IT provide their teams with the best specialist training available – helping us build innovative solutions whilst differentiating ourselves from other competitors on the market.

With access to a variety of resources, we can assure our clients of continuous innovation, increased expertise, and skill acquisition. When engaging with a Microsoft Partner, you know your business’ needs are in safe hands, letting you focus on business whilst we develop and provide expert IT solutions.

How does the Partner Programme guarantee quality?

Partners within the network are graded into two levels, either Silver or Gold. The grading received is dependent upon the level of business the MSP is operating at, and the Microsoft-specific skills accumulated during the period spent providing Microsoft services. Gold-certified businesses have demonstrated their best-in-class capability within a Microsoft solution area, working to demonstrate skills in several different competencies.

To gain Gold Status, businesses must fulfil a number of competency requirements, including:

  • Participation in the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) index.
  • Five customer references verifying a high standard of service delivery.
  • Have four qualified Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) that have passed one or more of certification exams issued by Microsoft (one having passed the licensing overview assessment and two having passed the sales and marketing assessment)
  • Earn the necessary 120 partner points

At Fitzrovia IT we have successfully renewed our Gold Status with the Microsoft Partner Programme for 2022/23; we’re proud to offer the highest standard of Microsoft Services on the market. As an organisation, it’s essential to us that we know our clients are receiving the best service possible, and that our IT experts are able to demonstrate their proven expertise in delivering quality solutions.

Going for Gold

As more and more businesses move towards cloud-based solutions and utilise services such as Microsoft 365, it’s essential to ensure your organisation is operating with the most advanced services available to you. As highlighted, it’s important to partner with a Microsoft Gold MSP in order to enjoy the best level of service on the market. At Fitzrovia IT our experts can offer specialised Microsoft support, ensuring your business’ Microsoft transition, configuration, and training is seamless.
