There is an abundance of fantastic places to eat in Fitzrovia so choosing a Top 5 was very difficult, in fact there are 6 favourites, which shows you how hard it’s really been!
As with the pubs and bars, we haven’t yet had the pleasure of visiting all the amazing Fitzrovia restaurants so this list is subject to change over time but for now, if you’re in the area these places (in no particular order) are definitely worth a visit…
An independently owned, Michelin starred restaurant offering artful modern French fine dining. Classic cooking and the finest wines are complemented by exceptional service every time. The restaurant has gained some of the highest awards and accolades possible, and it’s easy to see why.
Fresh from the Market and the Coast! A great little independent restaurant, Pescatori in Charlotte Street, has a reputation for serving the finest fish and seafood with an Italian twist, in convivial and friendly surroundings. Modern flair truly meets traditional Italian cooking at Pescatori.
If you’re looking for a classy all-day breakfast hang out, look no further. As well as lunch and dinner dishes, the breakfasts here are top notch. Choose anything from buttermilk pancakes (a personal favourite) to chorizo hash browns or a simple seasonal fruit plate. Wash it all down with a ‘Boris Bike’ juice or ‘Bloody Super Mario’ if you’re in a hair of the dog kind of mood.
A smart yet quirky townhouse, offering a modern twist on Vietnamese street food. Four floors of luxury eating with options for private dining to suit your needs. The menu consists of dishes full of fresh, authentic ingredients. For me, the crispy duck, watermelon and cashew nut salad is the best duck dish I’ve ever had.
If you like burgers, head to BOBO Social. With meat supplied by one of London’s top premium butchers, you can be sure that the likes of The Bellissimo burger are true to their word, it’s a fun place to eat fantastic food. The Guest Burger is changed every week and could be created by you at the Experimental Burger Society, held every Monday.
